From Palm Beach Post - by Willie Howard</p> LAKE WORTH — Activists, environmentalists and others interested in social causes have a new hangout: The Night Heron Grassroots Activist Center.

Located at 1307 Central Terrace in the North G Center building on 13th Avenue North, the recently opened Grassroots Activist Center (Centro Activista in Spanish) was created as a collaborative effort of several activist groups, including the Palm Beach County Environmental Coalition, Everglades Earth First, West Palm Beach Food Not Bombs and the South Florida Activist Defense Fund.


Organizers plan to staff the center with volunteers and plan to keep it open to the public on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. read more
