Im a 12 year old Irish Republican Socialist from Wet Belfast i agree strongly that my land should be united as any other land in a similar situation.

    How i discovered Socialism:
one day little seany walked into the libary i couldnt really find an intresting book so i went to a place in the libary i never payed much attension to so i lifted up a book called what is Communism i sat down in my seat started reading i didnt get finished i only got to the first few pages so i got it out when i went home i read the book about 3 times.. i was getting intrested in socialism i came into school then next day and asked the libaryian did he have any similar books and then things just went from there...

i hope to enjoy my stay here at che-lives.com

    Greatings
Captain Blackadder: You see, Baldrick, in order to prevent war two great super-armies developed. Us, the Russians and the French on one side, Germany and Austro-Hungary on the other. The idea being that each army would act as the other's deterrent. That way, there could never be a war.
Private Baldrick: Except, this is sort of a war, isn't it?
Captain Blackadder: That's right. There was one tiny flaw in the plan.
Lieutenant George: O, what was that?
    Captain Blackadder: It was bollocks.

I am sure you'll enjoy it here.
Man's dearest possession is life, and since it is given to him to live but once.He must so live that dying he can say, all my life and all my strength have been given to the greatest cause in the world, the liberation of mankind
    Ostrovski

    Muriel Spark:

If I had my life to live over again I should form the habit of nightly composing myself to thoughts of death. I would practice, as it were, the remembrance of death. There is no other practice which so intensifies life. Death, when it approaches, ought not to take one by surprise. It should be part of the full expectancy of life. Without an ever-present sense of death life is insipid. You might as well live on the whites of eggs.

I've an old friend called Eric from the countryside, Donard, I think, but I can't remember which part of Ireland, though...
The prolonged barrage engulfed Zero-One in the glow of a thousand suns. But unlike their former masters with their delicate flesh, the machines had little to fear of the bombs' radiation and heat. Thus did Zero-One's troops advance outwards in every direction. And one after another, mankind surrendered its territories. So the leaders of men conceived of their most desperate strategy yet. A final solution: the destruction of the sky.
