    Default Fundamentalist Communism?

What would be your opinion of leftists who are communists are also fanatically religious and in addition to establishing a communist society also wish to establish say a Christian society banning things like abortion or gay marriage? Would you work together with them?

Fundamentalist Christians (if they are actually fundamentalist) would'nt mix their religion with their politics, as Jesus instructed them (my kingdom is no part of this world).

No. However, there is and can't not be such a thing as a Christian Fundamentalist Communist. So the question is irrelevant.

Well if you made William Jennings Bryan somewhat more economically leftist it would be possible.

Coming from someone who doesn't follow organized religion...
I never understood theocracies, or theocratic laws; taking away people's "religious duty" to voluntarily adhere to a certain lifestyle for their God by forcing people to adhere to it for The State.

One of the most important aspects of Christianity is staying out of politics, and not mixing religion with politics. Jesus refused to take part in it, his early followers refused. So from a biblical standpoint, fundamentalist christians would'nt try to establish state bans on anything.

Well Pat Robertson, William Jennings Bryan, and others did just that. I'm not asking whether it'd be biblically correct, I'm asking will you work with fundamentalist Christian Communists?

No more than I would work with Stalinists, to achieve individual goals? Sure, I'd work with both Stalinists and say Catholic Socialists, but I would not work with them to achieve any state rules on moral issues, nor would I work with them to achieve the society they want to impose, be it stalinist or funtamentalist christian.

BTW, Pat Robertson is as christian as North Korea is a Democratic Republic.

I'm an anarchist communist, so no. I doubt many other communists would either, since fundamentalist Christianity as it exists in the USA would relegate LGBT folk into a separate, lower class, undermining the communist goal of a classless, stateless society. Of course, it's possible for someone to be a communist and a Christian (although not a Marxist and a Christian), as long as said someone doesn't wish to oppress LGBT people.

In other words, if William Jennings Bryan went left economically, he would pretty much have to drop his fundamentalism or else be a hypocrite.

The nearest example I can think of of communism mixed with fundamentalist Christianity is the Anabaptists who controlled the city of Münster from 1534 to 1535. They had kinda communistic/anarchistic ideas at first but they established a theocracy, which was highly oppressive and brutal and ended up with Jan Van Leiden proclaiming himself King of the World.

The earthly tyranny is just replaced by the tyranny of God who is always absent, so this tyranny has to be carried out by God's representatives on Earth (earthly tyranny). It can't work

That's completely incompatiable with communism. Communism is about giving people rights and freedoms. Banning abortion would take away a woman's right to choose(sexism) and banning gay marriage would take away gay rights, both of which completely defeat the purpose of having a communist society if banned. However, there can be religion if people wish it as long as they don't go and take away fundamental rights.
