Does anyone have any new information about the new Steven Soderburgh directed Che documentary? Starring Benicio Del Torro? IF so, post here. I'm very interested and frustrated because I can't find any info online.

Movies.com:There are several other Guevara pics in development, including one by Rush Hour director Brett Ratner, one by Robert Redford, and one by 13 Days director Roger Donaldson. (Upcoming Movies)

Based on the life of revolutionary Che Guevara (played by Benicio Del Toro), this film follows the Argentinian from his beginnings as a doctor to his involvement in Cuban politics and his eventual murder in Bolivia.

Not much on the movie !!!They say it's gonna be out by 2003.CHE

Ah, oh well. I make a vow not to watch it in the name of the "poor". Do you think it will promote communism?
It doesn't really matter to me.

We should protest this movie, they are using a good man and gonna make themselves rich off of him. if people actually followed che's example these holywood fat cats would piss their pants.

I don't know Spartacus. I think the movie could enlighten the American population. If it is done as a documentary biography and not as a high-budget, special-effects extravaganza, we should give it a try. Since Che is such a controversial figure, and not to mention little-known here in the states, I don't think the motive is money.

But the moment they comercialize it and start selling CHe dolls, I will stand outside the gates of Hollywood and protest until they are removed from the shelves.

And the chances of that happening???

Didn't they already make a Che movie back in the 1960's or 1970's?

good idea about bombing the theatres.

Personally I would wait til they are closed, as to avoid the terrorist label.

Hey MentalBunny whats the story with the hoodies?

Sounds like these golddigga people only "deserve to be tortured and shot"

NZ: Well you know the Che picture, the pop-art one, well it's on a load of hoodies and you get all this conservative rich kids wearing them, the fuckers, without the first clue about him or what he means for people like us, the fuckers. They just see this icon, this cool design of this bloke called Che Guevara, a load of them probably think "che" is his real name or something else just as dumb, they don't know shit and they care less. You can tell this fucks me off.
