anyone who has seen or knows about this film knows its about terroist guerillas wanting to "embrace war", yes thats a quote from the film. In a scene from the film i saw one of the guerillas tents and inside as the camera panned across was a large pic of che and a smaller one of lenin. I know it doesn't mean much but it just proves how american filmakers love bunching people together, goodies and baddies. Throw lenin the commie and che in with a bunch of terroists its ok.

Am i right or have a gone hyperbolic?

you are 100% right. I noticed the exact same thing myself. I remember sitting there biting my wrists off because I was so angry. Those American filmmakers are either really stupid or just being very sarcastic and hyperbolic as you mentioned. I couldn't agree with you more. Way to go for bringing that up. A thread like this should of been put up a while ago.

look, this thing comes from soviet support of insurgent actions in the wester hemisphere.

if you were high in the mountains of el salvador in 1981, in a guerilla tent, bet your ass stalin and lennin portraits would be in that tent. now is a different story, but thats where they get it from.

so they just put out the lie that all rebels are communists, and of course must be destroyed.

I don't watch US propaganda movies if I can avoid it. You are 100% right.

That movie is politically incorrect, and the story much no sense, poor script too. Its somewhat they he attempts to bomb the state department i think it is, as long as no innocent civillians are injured/killed.

I try to avoid captalist-propaganda movies. But once in a while laughing at their dumb heros(rambo) is good for the lauging muscles.
Let no one charge that socialists have arrayed class against class in this struggle. That has been done long since in the evolution of capitalist society. One class is small and rich and the other large and poor....One consists of capitalists and the other of workers. These two classes are at war. Every day of peace is at the expense of labor. There can be no peace and good will between these two essentially antagonistic economic classes. - Debs

Well, in real life, terrorists have pictures of che to inspire themselves, too. After all, Che was a terrorist, albeit a good one.
Direct action is key- don't just sit at your computer and rant at leftists you disagree with slightly- get out there and DO IT. Organize. Change your life, and change the lives of those around you. The reason the waterheads are still in power is because we aren't being loud enough.
