The Article in the Daily Mail Newspaper

i was reading the daily mail (a conservative newspaper) and there was a double page spread with that picture of che and the headline was calling him a false idol. it was written with an incredibly right wing attitude and it portrayed che as a false idol who was in love with the idea of warfare. it also labelled his book a joke and labelled his campaign in bolivia a farce. another thing i found interesting about the article was that during the cuban revolution (it said that) no brave and fatigue draining battles were fought and batista's already rotten regime was simply pushed aside because the USA would not back him. i suggest anyone who can get hold of todays daily mail newspaper should; it is an interesting read. i know in my eyes and in the eyes of the majority on this board that che is a powerful icon for the right reasons. but this right wing account of che is worth reading despite the fact that it is written in a negative context.

yo do not believe them .. Che was very anti-american and he fought them .. i admire him for that .. do not believe the englishes about that they lie .. because its normal that they are trying to down him .. before believing others go read about him .. i talk about REAL books .. wrote by him .. and .. try to get your own idea and opinion about him man .. i tell you sincerly, Che was a very nice guy

If somebody says something "bad" (according to you) about Che, he's a stupid or worst. Why do you wnat only the persons that think in the same way like you?

I believe that a person who has a different thought will enrich the forum.

something everyone should know about the Daily Mail people- they can't actually read so I doubt they even bothered to read Che's book. Just ignore the Daily Mail, most normal people do.

I don't think people will stopp printing such articels, because it's not their aim to make Che popular. You folks don't have to forget where this articel was published and what political situtation is going on there ... very often Americans don't even know the real Che ... but I have to agree that makes me pissed too ... and GAZU don't you see that you can answer question yourself??? Imagine you have a friend who you extremly admire. And now you have to read that other people write bad about him and print stuff which isn't true. But the worthest is that those people don't even know your friend ... maybe they have seen him once in a supermarket but still they jugde him ... would you be pissed??? I don't think you would still think the same way and say "oh, they have another opinion ... that fine!!!" ... If you do that you're not convinces enough ...

Anyway such articel need to be burned!!!

Love him or hate, you cannot call the man stupid. Even if you hate his cause you must acknowledge that was an intelligent man. No one that knew about the man would call him 'stupid.'

You forget that the Che is dead, and that the important thing now, is to be able to think on its work, and a forum where there is a single type of opinion does not lead nowhere, to have a forum that produces true results yo must have two parts with different thoughts at least.
