    Well comrades.

Since there are many pictures of our hero being spread around the world, I was wondering what is your favourite che picture ?

Please post here and if you like add a description for your choice.

    Here's mine:

Its just that smile and look in his eyes, that made me choose this picture. Its hard to describe but it's different from the others.

    Annelie,

It depends where the picture is. If it is online, you have to use Ikon Code to post it. Type [img]address of picture[*/img]

You must remove the star though when you post.

If the picture is not online and stored on your computer, you will have to upload it onto the site. You can do that by looking at the top of the page for an option called upload. Upload the picture to the site and use the Ikon code I gave you above to post the picture.

If you don't understand how to do it, you could e-mail me the picture by clicking here and I'll do it for you.

There were two “Reigns of Terror,” if we would but remember it and consider it; the one wrought murder in hot passion, the other in heartless cold blood; the one lasted mere months, the other had lasted a thousand years; the one inflicted death upon ten thousand persons, the other upon a hundred millions; but our shudders are all for the “horrors” of the minor Terror, the momentary Terror, so to speak; whereas, what is the horror of swift death by the axe, compared with lifelong death from hunger, cold, insult, cruelty, and heart-break? What is swift death by lightning compared with death by slow fire at the stake? A city cemetery could contain the coffins filled by that brief Terror which we have all been so diligently taught to shiver at and mourn over; but all France could hardly contain the coffins filled by that older and real Terror... --- Mark Twain

    i hate pinochet,

The picture was taken at a mourning for the dead sailors aboad a ship whose name escapes me but that was returning from Belgium with weapons the government had ordered. It mysteriously exploded and hundreds were tragically killed. Many blame the U.S. government for it just like they do with the famous U.S. ships whose name also escapes me but blew up in like 1898 and was an excuse used by the U.S. that practically said that because the Spanish blew it up they had a right to intervene in the Cuban/Spanish War and in Cuban affairs up until 1959. The shot of Che was taken after speeches by Castro, etc commemorating the dead and though he doesn't look it, in 1960 when the picture was taken Che had put on weight and was getting fat however the slick jacket his Mexican friend let him borrow covers that up. I hope that answers your question.
P.S. That picture was remarkably not one chosen in the article for the Cuban magazine that the photographer worked for. Only in 1967 did it receive legendary status. Korda worked for the Cuban government at the time and was French and recently died last year.

Has anyone seen Che when he changed his identity and tried to look like different? It was pretty odd, he had the top of his head bald, and he had glasses. Looked really wierd...Saw it in the Fidel movie.

    Here are my favs.
I like this one because it shows che's affectionate side.

This is the bolivians and the CIA (I believe..) poking che, almost as if believing, he's really dead? The mans dead, that must mean the idea is too!But che was quoted before being executed, "Shoot you coward, I'm only a man"
