“There are no boundaries in this struggle to the death. We cannot be indifferent to what happens anywhere in the world, for a victory by any country over imperialism is our victory; just as any country's defeat is a defeat for all of us.” – Che Guevara

The book, Compaero (the life and death of Che Guevara) by Jorge Castaeda seems to be a good objective source. I am reading it at the moment. It received good reviews from various reputable people, not raving loons (which is always a good thing).
My father met an ex-Bolivian Ranger in La Paz. He said that he was one of the soldiers guarding Che before his execution. He noted how friendly Che was to him and his fellow soldiers, offering them cigarettes and matches.

At one time I had listened to cassette tapes of Che. Though, he was not a character in the tape, the tape focused on the American's side of the story. They watched him for most of the end of his last days. What I found interesting is they never interrupted his life, only watched it from under a microscope. I remember them saying "That Che Guevara, he wants to rule the world!" Whatever.
Myself, I believe he died of a severe ashma attack. The man was invinsible.
I personally find myself in rebellion against the fate that history seems to have in store for us, and I suspect that some of you may be equally rebellious. The question is, what can you do? --Leo Szilard, \"Are We On The Road To War?\" Nov 17, 1961

I have viewed pictures of his body after his death in one of the books written of him. There was mention that a scarf had to be tied around his jaw. The reason being that his face had twisted up pretty badly. Normally, this happens when a person suffers a really bad attack of some kind, like epilepsy or ashma. I have not heard or seen that it occurs in shooting victims.
The Peron family was suspected of having taken in one of the Nazi's back in the 1940's. The Catholic church was also known to provide safe haven for the Nazi's as well. Who knows? One thing I do know, a witness claimed to have seen a Nazi who was running one of the ghettos and butchering the Jews throwing his uniform out the window of his car. He showed no regard or allegience to his uniform. There is no agenda in the hearts of the wicked. The destruction of man kind is the goal.
