Personally I'd go for "gaudy". Where is this, Cuba? What is it supposed to be in aid of. Could somebody give me some information on this statue please?

Gaudy maybe, but it still looks very realistic. Wouldn't it be cool if it was a golem?

“We still believe that the struggle of Ireland for freedom is a part of the world-wide upward movement of the toilers of the earth, and we still believe that the emancipation of the working class carries within it the end of all tyranny – national, political and social.” – James Connolly

It's in Santa Clara at the Che museum/memorial. Or at least they have one just like it there.

That statue is in Santa Clara....however it is not at the BIG memorial where he is buried. I did not see that statue while in Santa Clara.....so I am not sure of its exact location in the city. If for some reason it is at the big memorial, I didn't see it....and I wandered to every corner of the site and I am blind![]()

I know it! I know it!
If I get out of here, the river swallows me
It is my destiny: Today I must die!
But no, willpower can overcome everything.
There are the obstacles, I admit it.
I dont want to come out.
If I have to die, it will be in this cave.
The bullets, what can the bullets do to me if
my destiny is to die by drowning. But I am
going to overcome destiny. Destiny can be
achieved by willpower.
Die, yes, but riddled with
bullets, destroyed by the bayonets, if not, no. Drowned, no
