I think nether. I think he would see himself part of 'the ppl' he wanted a socialist utopia, not just for latin america, but for all the oppressed. I think che didnt think with borders. We are all ppl, all brothers, and we the ppl, are all oppressed. well, those are my two pesos.

I partly agree with you, But i feel he has much more simpathy to Cuba than for any other latin country. You can see this by reading his letter to Fidel.

But at the same time i also believe he feels Argentine, because as i am Argentine, I will always defend that posture.

But thinking more deeply, you are right he saw himself part of the people, but i dont agree "just for latin America", as he, for example fought in Congo helping the "Movimiento para la liberacion del Congo"

I agree. Didn’t he emphasise that he was an internationalist and if anything he would probably call himself a Latin American.

He would call himselff a latin american, But if he is risking his life in Africa, he must have some feelings towards it.

I think Che felt a "citizen of the world" he was a true internationalist that didnt belive in the existence of borders and that would have given his life for the people of any nation. It is true that maybe he felt a stronger sympathy for the people of latin america. But i think his feelings were not held back even by national borders.

definitely, Che was a piece of everything that he had touched, by every country he went to and by the people he met, that is why I believe that people who do not travel and change are the ones who doom their own horizons.

How can you classify yourself when you are hispanic?
You are part of a whole. I do not feel just Nicaraguan. I feel Hispanic. When people here in the US look at me, they see a brown person. Often times calling me Mexican, guatemalan, colombian, etc...
Che was not just Argentino he was Latino!

Although Che probably was an internationalist his biggest dream was to spark Socialist revoulutions throughout soth America and especially his home-land. I imagine that he felt much more Argentinian than Cuban, without a doubt.

I don't think that it was a matter of nationality with Che. Sure he was Argentinian, and wanted to see revolution in his home land. But Cuba had been such a big part of his life, he had citizenship there after the revolution. So if I had to choose the one that I thought Che felt more apart of I would have to say both. But I would argue with myself on this one. Che was for the people, regardless of nationality, he wanted to help whomever he could. On this note I would say that Che belonged to the world and he probably felt the same.
