greetings from dresden!
for all you ppl who wonderd where all the crazy dutchies disapeared to; warm greetings from the antifa protests in dresden, germany.
we didn't get our hands at some nazi's until now but we had a big demo and a few tough batlle's with the pigs.
everybody from our group is on this moment safe & unharmed (except some bruisses and cuts) and if no arrests in our group are made tonight we hope to head back home tomorow morning.

just got back in amsterdam and totaly "kaput" (realy tired) so just wanted to let you all know we are okay.
did we finaly did run in to a bunch of (dutch!!) nazi's at a gas stop before dortmund, werrent they willing to be provoked
and we realy couldn't make it to land the first punch without getting in lots of trouble with the pigs (we: 35 antifa's, they: 6 nazi's shitting all collors of the rainbow) so we let them pass with a warning.

6.000 nazi's, 11.000 counter demonstrators of wich 4.000 militant antifa.
nazi demo route shortend through our presure but not (b)reached thanx to very tight, brutal and effective policing by 6.000 pigs.
(what was the saying again? there are no nazi marches, just police one's...)
a few retalitation atacks against the pigs after the demo/in the night.

11,000 anti-nazis is good. Who was there aside from antifa?
6000 nazis is very very bad, especially since so many of them seem so young.
there where several marches from the "burger kundung" going through the historic center to converge on the central square, and so preventing the nazi's from being able to take center stage in the "alte stad"
this "burger kundung" exsisted mostly from the parlemantarian left, trade unions and churches etc.
we expexted over 8.000 so it could have been worse, but very scary indeed

We had loads of fun, a tiny bummer that we couldn't get our hands on some fash but we got their demo shortened so victory was ours anyway. It was a fun trip and totally worth the 11 hour bustrip, we showed our international solidarity and made a lot of friends. The anti-deutsche are a bit odd, and I'm surprised but very content with the fact that no one of us got into fights with them over their love of Israel.

To bad we didn't manage to attack/block or stop them before the march started. But from hearing from other people this year the counter demonstrations were way bigger (and succesfuller?) than the years before, I hope 'we' can continue this line.
dresden was great, 48 hours of non-stop stuff. i was also 'kaput'(:
