Well, the CIA's never been famous for minding their own business, but I think they really outdid themselves with hunting and killing Che....they were scared that if the revolution in Bolivia had succeeded, American capitalist interests would've been hurt, like in Cuba when American companies were confiscated, and they began to lose the revenue they were making at the expense of ordinary Cubans. They couldn't beat Che into submission, so they killed him. Rodriquez was probably quite proud to be the agent who eliminated the threat to American interests in Bolivia

Yes, Felix Rodriguez was quite proud of his dirty little accomplishment, and I'd be surprised if he were any other way, as he was involved in hunting down guerrillas as recently as the 1980s in El Salvador. That link someone put up to info on a pedifile isn't the same one. I think the former CIA agent lives in Miami or somewhere whereabouts. If you want some personal TRIVIAL dirt on him, however, his ex-girlfriend reported he had a penchant for shooting out streetlights with a silenced pistol.
Rodriguez is an asshole, embittered by having to enjoy social inequality elsewhere and not in Cuba. On the other hand, while I definitely admire Che, I have to say that he did make some mistakes in Bolivia. The revolution in Bolivia was not going very well, and may well have fallen without the CIA's help. There was one thing Che didn't learn from the experiences in Cuba, the urban supporters of the guerrilla fighter may not be active in the combatant sense of the term, but they are just as important. He had not gotten along very well with them in Cuba, and made the mistake of not getting along well with them in Bolivia. He didn't build up the urban support before actively engaging the enemy. The campesinos didn't know who to support, so they supported the familiar and turned informants. Not only that, but he didn't keep the ties between the mountainside and the cities, aliiances deteriorated and the support base was shrinking. Food? Gone. Arms? Gone. There was no way to continue the fight. He was a brilliant tactician, but without supplies that didn't help. In Cuba, Castro was able to balance out Che's lack of faith in the urban resistance cells, in Bolivia, it ruined him.

Thats bad..you know...thats bad
I don't know what CIA agent you guys are talking about, I must have missed the TV special. From what I understand it was the Bolivian Gov, that had him killed. Perhaps it was the US or the Soviets that had something to do with it. Che was a revolutionary, he had a vision for the people that were oppressed in Latin American. I might not agree with his Socialist style of Politics but I believe he atleast had the balls to die for what he believed in. Unlike other people that hide in caves ( osama ) and pee in their pants in the face of death.
Che Guevara wannabe
The CIa didnt kill him.....he helped to track him down....what makes him one of the guys that betraded che........
Well, what do you expect, the CIA are the same sick fucks that helped set up Pinochet, Videla, Batista, Trujillo, and TRAINED OSAMA BIN LADEN.
That's right, they have trained Osama bin Laden and supported his troops by giving arms and weapons, during the time when Soviet army had occupied most of Afghanistan territory.
What we have as a result of supporting Laden?
USA now gather the fruits , which they have planted , in hope of ruining communism and weakening USSR army.
Well the CIA was involved. Rodrigues well I think he is a racist just like most of the Cubans that fled to Miami After Che took over. They could not stand sharing a park with black people in Santa Clara. Yes indeed, they ran to Miami because the black man in Cuba was free thanx to Che.
Anywhere guys, thanx to the CIA CHE will forever be a world icon, they fucked up they should have left him alone. He is now a legend greater that Regan, Bush, Bush, Ford, the Hoover killer, Jessie Helms and all the other racist republican put together.
cheers
During my lifetime I have dedicated myself to this struggle of the African people, I have fought against white domination, and I have fought against black domination
Training your own enemies dont think America can sink even deeper........But like most of you say its the prize they pay......
One day I will make it my mission to destroy the CIA.
Life must be lived forwards but can only be understood backwards.
Wait this gut was 7 when he killed che and he was a CIA agent, well thats fucj=king wrong
We will kidnap him, and publicly exacute him during the European Revolution!
My revenge plan:
Phase 1: Go to Miami
Phase 2: Look up Rodriguez's address in the phonebook
Phase 3: Go to his house
Phase 4: Ring the doorbell
Phase 5: Punch him in the face
Phase 6: Go home
I would do it this way....
1 go to his home
2 punch him in the face
3 search the house for the gun with che tabac
4 get the gun
5 Play russion roulette with him
6 put six bullets in it
7 REVENGE CHE
The CIA is of course still alive and well. It is just a puppet for the executive branch to carry out war crimes without getting placed with the blame
HASTA LA VICTORIA SIEMPRE!
According to Anderson's book, Rodriguez suddenly developed asthma a few hours after Che was shot. Like the asthma transmigated from Che into him. Spooky!
felix rodriguez did not kill Che. he lead the group that killed Che. Jaime Teran was he person who actually shot Che.
also there are some sources that say Teran shot him but did not kill him. Then other Bolivian soldiers came in and shot Che multiple times
Mario Teran is his name. He now works cleaning tables in a bar.
