It is good that young people are lifting their heads and demanding change. But, to quote Bob Dylan: “Let us not talk falsely here, the hour is getting late.”
Through no fault of their own, this new generation is coming of age not only in an era of mass shootings, but even more profoundly, at a time when there is a fascist regime in the White House. The Trump/Pence Regime is threatening the future of all of humanity – with their dangerous moves towards nuclear war, their acceleration of environmental destruction, their white supremacy and xenophobic ethnic cleansing, their assault on women and LGBTQ people, and more.
For this reason, humanity needs this generation to stand up against and play a key role in ending much more than school shootings. This new generation has a key role to play in the fight to drive out the Trump/Pence Regime.
Now, we ask you to join RefuseFascism.org in marching together and spreading this unique message at these marches in an even bigger way this weekend.

During last Wednesday's nationwide walk-outs, young people were incredibly enthusiastic about this message. They took up signs, flyers, stickers, chants and cheered when we called on them to join in driving out the regime in order to stand with the people of the world, our immigrant sisters and brothers, and more.
