Tango with Rebecca – a popular Tango teacher and performer. If you don’t know tango, come learn with us. If you know tango, come dance! If you think you have two left feet, come anyway to be part of the community who is protesting and not just standing by or being complicit with the Trump/Pence Regime! We’re saying and demanding that: This nightmare Must End: The Trump/Pence Regime Must Go!
Why Tango?
Some of us in the NYC Tango community wanted to join our love for tango with building this movement against the Trump/Pence Regime. So, we’re inviting you to this fundraiser for Refuse Fascism! Tango has a history of starting from a “street dance” meld of different cultures/peoples coming together – influences from African, Native American and European culture. The tango music is also a fusion of various forms of music. Come find out more and join in learning the tango spirit and beginning steps.
And at the same time, donate to Refuse Fascism.
Why Refuse Fascism?
RefuseFascism.org is a movement of people coming from diverse perspectives, united in the recognition that the Trump/Pence Regime poses a catastrophic danger to humanity and the planet. And, that it is OUR responsibility to drive them from power through mass nonviolent protest that ultimately involves millions.
Contributing significant funds to – and joining in raising significant funds for – RefuseFascism.org is one of the most critical and meaningful ways for people to refuse to accept a fascist America and the catastrophic horror this would mean for all of humanity.
Your donation is needed immediately to help reach the organizations and clergy that need to be with Refuse Fascism; the lawyers to defend the movement; the youth and students to be in the streets day after day in non-violent civil disobedience with our message, and the people of prominence who have the capacity to reach millions more.
