I believe he is refering to the communism that has been put into practice in all communist revolutions. In that case, both are equaly bad.

What of the rural areas? No homelessness, poverty or hunger? I'm not sure I believe that.
I live in Canada, when I lived in rural Canada I did not see hunger, or see homelessness, but it existed. It was there, right in my community.
