Capitalist see: Public Unions and the State
For some reason some capitalists can not at all understand how its POSSIBLE that workers can have control of the workplace and the community controls the conomy and how that would possibly workout without everything just going straight to hell and going down into chaos.
But guess what, in countries with nationalized industries and free and strong public unions, it happens ALL THE TIME, thats exactly what that is, the community controls the resources and the public union has significant say in the workplace, and yet, it does'nt go straight to shit.
Maybe in the US where the state is undemocratic and instead corporatist, but in other countries with relatively functioning democracies things work out quite well.

Yup, example: Pyeonghwa Motors or the Korea Agricultural Cooperation Company in the DPRK. Both examples of collective ownership can work in large companies, even if hobbled by sanctions and poor resources.
get off it, stick to your north korean propeganda threads and stay out of threads dealing with actual socialism.
Partnerships tend to work quite well, and they have at least some worker control.
Sorry Gacky, you can't talk about the glories of nationalized industries and dismiss that fellow's worship of North Korea.
The truth remains: North Korea, based upon the standards in this thread and others you have written, remains far more "socialist" than a Norway or Sweden who after all, continue to function withn the the confines of a capitalist system. Pyongyang has long broken from the "capitalist", "imperialist" orbit

Yes I can, I'm talking about socializing industry, i.e. making it democratically accountable, if a kind nationalizes something its not even close to being in the same ballpark as a democratic society nationalizing it.

Any worker control of industry? No, Any democratic control of hte economy? No, any democracy what so ever? No.
Any country that allows labor unions and free assembally is more socialist than North Korea.
