Look, Die Neue Ziet, the problem will be and all ways well be the amount of trolling we get from the fake Left. While I understand why it should go in you post, I will point out how there will only be a debate between the two of us, and trolling from Red Dave. In fact I can find no fact to Red Dave point. It almost like debating with a person, why math needs number. It can't be anything else other then trolling, that why I point it in the Neo-Stalin group.

I just started a debate post in the Neo-Stalinist group on the subject of military and Standing army. I'm looking foward to a debate with you on the subject, with out the right-wing here jamming up the debate..

Thanks. We Sparts really are more economically sophisticated than other Trotskyoids. You should really read some of Joseph Seymours's stuff, he's the guy I get most of what I say about economics from.

Particularly his brilliant pamphlet, "Why the Soviet Union Is Not Capitalist," with a lot of excellent economic analysis of how the Soviet Union etc. actually worked. You'd probably find his "Lenin and the Vanguard Party" pamphlet even more interesting, it deals directly with the issues you like to raise here.

Either orderable easily off the Spartacist website, or purchaseable directly from Spartacists in Berlin or Hamburg. $2 or 1.5 euros. Here's the pamphlet list on their website, with the clickable order form. And they don't even charge shipping. Contact info for the German Spartacists elsewhere on the website.

DNZ "You should quit the outright lying and twisting of my words about handing anarchists over to the police. Anarchists can be divided into utopians, lifestylists, hooligans, insurrectionists, syndicalists, and political class-strugglists. The context was the KKE's handling of anarcho-hooligans who tried to hamper the party's activity."

I don't accept your divisions of anarchists. Nor do I care about your bleatings about the context. In my opinion people who advocate the turning over of anarchists to the police, whatever their analysis of their politics are touts, and are beneath contempt.

So many reasons its hard to explain without being somewhat reductionist as to the causes of my departure. While the Wellington branch is youthful and vibrant, the culture of the Auckland branch was stifling, dogmatic and hyperactivist to the point that I was forced to do things that I didn't feel confident in doing or that there was even any point to it. My political life feels a lot more healthy since I've left, at the moment I'm heavily involved in grassroots student activism which I feel is most appropriate to the current state of the New Zealand political situation.

In short: The WPNZ was trying to build a vanguard party without a vanguard, right now I feel like I'm more involved in organic expressions of grassroots agency rather than trying to recruit people to a series of fossilised doctrinaire beliefs.

Out of interest, what do you think were the causes of Kautsky's and Social Democracy's political collapse in the face of imperialist war?

"A new centrist project does not have to repeat these mistakes. Nobody in this topic is advocating a carbon copy of the Second International (which again was only partly centrist)." (Tjis, class-struggle anarchist)

"A centrist strategy is based on patience, and building a movement or party or party-movement through deploying various instruments, which I think should include: workplace organising, housing struggles [...] and social services [...] and a range of other activities such as sports and culture. These are recruitment and retention tools that allow for a platform for political education." (Tim Cornelis, left-communist)
