I've met a few christian socialists in my life, great people!.
I'm a stubborn atheist, but firmly believe in right to religion, and human rights.

That wasn't the point of my most recent blog. Cockshott and I argue for selections by lot instead of elections (of personnel). Demarchy is statistically representative democracy. Voting is different from electing.

After reading Cockshott and myself, why do still advocate elections, if I may ask?

No particular reason, just that its interesting. I do not know much about this line of thought, other than the fact that alot of socialists have actually been religious also. I actually see this as a good thing, as it destroys the myth that all socialists hate religion and want to do bad things to its followers. And I personally do not see anything wrong with being both religious and a communist. Are there any renownd christian communists?
