Ah sorry mate, we got there at like half 11 (I got there a bit later cos I was walking around Division st. looking for it. Apparently S. asked them if this was where you sign on, but they said it were only offices so we went to the Job Centre on West st. and then the First point. We did a fair bit of leafleting though, and got good receptions, took down a phone number and people generally seemed cool with it.

No I am pretty sure they make you cut your hair and take showers in the Army. My comrade's brother in law is being redeployed for a third tour in Afghanistan, which is no good. He already has some level of PTSD, was forced originally to join up by a judge after a bar room fight, and re-enlisted to avoid being stop-lossed.

Of course this is nothing compared to the impact on the lives of the Afghan people.

Were you concerned that I was a soldier or that I was in harms way in A-stan?

LOL, well it is really quite simply. On registration forms for websites, the country pull down often list the United States first and the rest of the world second, in alphabetical order. So it goes Unites States, Afghanistan so I just started putting Vermont, Afghanistan to show my solidarity with the Afghan people and throw people for a loop.
