Because debating the SCW on RevLeft is a big waste of time. Read works by Paul Preston, Helen Graham and Gabriel Jackson if you want a good introduction, they're not MLs but they also don't accuse the PCE of being some sort of evil conspiratorial force that ruined everything.
I understand that, I used to be that guy! I used to be antiKKE and accusing it for things that were nonexisted. The thing is to know, to learn. As far as 20/10 goes:It was a 48hour general strike that PAME organised, propagandised(?), guarded at the workplaces. In the first day, more than 500.000 people demonstrated. On the second day, there were about 100.000. On the second day, PAME was there from 9am. Anarchists did nothing for that strike. They guarded not a single workplace, they convinced not a single worker to strike. They arrived at 11am and they thought, as usual, that they have every right in the world to do their usual riot on the backs of everyone else(since they never riot on their own demos). So they attacked PAME with molotovs, dynamite sticks, rocks etc. And of course PAME retalieted. A video came out that showed at least one fascist that was bullying some immigrants, being within the anarchists that day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ON-BoxVZ4-U
Charity?! Liah, no. What it does, is solidarity actions. Like, for instance, in May there was a strike at a milk industry factory, MEVGAL. PAME went there and gave 300 kilos of food to the strikers. http://www.rizospastis.gr/wwwengine/story.do?id=7449859 There are stuff like that.
wtf is a soup kitchen?
It's worth reading.
Kosovo belongs to the people who live there. Be they Serb, Albanian, Roma, or whatever. The people of Kosovo must work together for their own good and refuse the imperialist propaganda and aggression from all sides. Be they coming from Washington and NATO or from Belgrade.
PR doesn't have any formal relationship with the KKE, due to some of their stances on Kosovo, although I think this is a mistake to disregard the KKE over this, considering they are the only CP in Europe that is quite active and consistently on the attack. PR HAD good relations with the KOE until they joined in with SYRIZA...
Yes.
Maybe, but I wouldn't trust a pro-Soviet revisionist party.
1. Yes, that is what the Soviets feared. A good introductory read to this subject is Clement Leibovitz's In Our Time: The Chamberlain-Hitler Collusion. A CPGB book from the 50's, The Munich Conspiracy by Andrew Rothstein, is also worth checking out on the subject. 2. The West. There are various works on this. A good read on one of the first issues of the Cold War can found in Drawing the Line: The American Decision to Divide Germany, 1944-1949.
