I wouldn't say they were so much "anti leninist," as much as they were anti vanguardist, a stance which I don't see has much point discussing since its kinda impossible to carry out a revolution without a revolutionary workers organization/party.

Yeah, unfortunately there hasn't really been much discussion in the Bordiga literati group. I've mostly just been posting texts but haven't really offered any thoughts on them. Hopefully I'll be able to post more once school gets out for me (next week).

Bordiga's writings have changed my views substantially, especially on the role and necessity of the party in the class struggle and my conceptions of proletarian dictatorship and democracy. I agree with him in most cases and wouldn't reject the label of "Bordigist" to describe my political views. Along with Lenin, he is one of my favorite Marxist thinkers of the 20th century.

Not trotskyism, i was just wondering about the split, that's all. Seemed like it would of been a big deal at the time.

Think that was a good idea?

Trotsky actually tried to work with Bordiga, but I believe Bordiga was opposed to the United Front tactic. What I read of his history seemed a little sectarian, however overall his politics are pretty respectable, especially when he opposed the Stalinists in the Italian Communist Party. Wasn't he a left oppositionist though? I just want to know the reason for his split in 1932.

I'd say closest to a Bolshevist at the point of October, or whatever Karl Leibknacht's politics were before he was killed.
If we're looking at really point in the 20th century, I would of taken a bolshevist stance. United Frontism with other workers parties, Perminant Revolution, Democratic Centralism... Those things define my politics.
In terms of my interpretation of the U.S.S.R. i'd say i'm a Trotskyist though, but that's one of the less important arguements of the time. However i'm completely opposed to any kind of centrism/class collaborationism or popular fronts with any bourgeois organizations, so that is what I see as most important these days.

    P.S. Visca Roosterism!

I actually just ordered that book a few days ago, it hasn't come yet though. I already have the prequel to that, which is Prelude to Revolution: The Petrograd Bolsheviks and the July 1917 Uprising.

"The exploited are not carriers of any positive project, be it even the classless society (which all too closely resembles the productive set up). Capital is their only community. They can only escape by destroying everything that makes them exploited...Capitalism has not created the conditions of its overcoming in communism-the famous bourgeoisie forging the arms of its own extinction-but of a world of horrors." -At Daggers Drawn

"Our strategy is therefore the following: to establish and maintain a series of centers of desertion, or poles of secession, of rallying points. For runaways. For those who leave. A series of places where we can escape from the influence of a civilization that is headed for the abyss." -Tiqqun, Call
