It's a very interesting sounding title so i thought i would get it. I find Michael Parenti my favorite leftist scholar so far, he does not opportune like most leftist academics and opportunists like Chomsky.

No, on the term. There's so much class-based variation on this, from the sans culottes to the "working classes" to the "popular classes" as mentioned.

Whenever you have time, I'd like some thoughts from you on the Spanish term "popular classes" - "peasants, the unemployed, the working class and sometimes the lower middle class [...] most of all to exclude the upper class and upper middle class."
