What's the point of you being a communist if you want to hand over power to a clique? The job of the party is not to seize power. Why do you think it should be?

Hi, thanks for the vote of confidence. Obviously, we have a similar view of Trotsky, and his relationship to Trotskyism.

I regard myself as being more in the Dutch-German tradition than the Italian tradition... though, actually, if one puts Ruhle and Bordiga down as opposite poles I'm somewhere in the middle. Pro-party as the organisation of revolutionaries, anti-party seizing power. Somewhere between the Luxemburgists of the KPD/KAPD and the Damenites of the PCInt. ICC-ICT Left Communist in other words.

Well, it looks like I have a case for supporting the Pact but opposing the trade. It looks like the whole Phoney War period did have politically reasonable trade relations (read: non-existent).

What tendency do you subscribe to? From what I have read, you seem to be a Orthodox Marxist (such as that of DNZ, Ghost Bebel, etc.) but I thought I would ask because I wasn't sure.

Do you know how long it usually takes to get an answer about a restriction?

To me it seems more likely that Iran would do most of its retaliation by supporting terrorist groups. Not all of course but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't escalate into a full on war with tens of thousands dead. I think the Iranian government knows that it would have no chance whatsoever of winning a war against Israel.
But the possibility of an escalation is the only real argument I heard so far, so I'll definitely think about it some more.

Yeah, I completely agree with Bordiga's analysis. I do think he leaves out some other factors to the Holocaust, but overall he is completely correct. I think it is a good text because it shows we should oppose bourgeois democracy as much as fascism instead of pulling some "lesser evil" stunt.

Don't confuse "workers parties" of even the reformist types with merely political wings of "organized labour." That's the British model, not the Continental one.
