I have no qualms with authoritarianism. And no the Republican government in the Spanish Civil war was not a workers state and the CNT are traitors for joining it, in my opinion.

But yes you are right, they didn't nearly go 'far enough' as you put it; however it was the first time the working class ever seized control of the state and as such has many lessons we can learn from the experience.

Well they only had control for 60 days, its not exactly like they had much time to organize, debate, agree upon and put into effect very many decrees.

What do you mean that they didn't go far enough? Were there mistake, undoubtedly, however it was the first time the proletariat successfully expropriated the bourgeoisie and took control over the state.
