To be honest I don't think I'm particularly knowledgeable on this sort of thing but I do think white people are privileged in that they don't have to deal with some of the issues that non-white people generally are faced with.

But if pushed then I think I would say all white people are privileged, yes.

How come you haven't told anyone? I know quite a few other vegans, so most people I know don't think it's too weird or anything, although I get plenty of silly questions about what I eat. Some people also assume that my food isn't going to taste good because it's vegan, so when I cook they seem surprised it tastes nice which is kind of insulting.
