No, it's held at the Anderson Speedway every year around Memorial Day. It's actually really exciting, even if the only interesting thing that happens is a potentially fatal crash. 2 years ago, a guy on the sand crew (they run out on the track while the caution flag is out and pour sand on the leaked oil on the track) got hit. He lived, but only barely.
It's still pretty fun.

You should check out the Little 500. Way cooler than the Indy 500.
