Haha he did read it a bunch, he was a big Fitzgerald and Hemmingway fan. I own the Great Gatsby and will get around to reading it one of these days. I own alot of HST as well, some of his correspondence is really good and some of his lesser known novels are great. I own almost everything ever written by Hemmingway and think the man was a genius; even if he was a bit too fond of love stories for my liking.

I've never actually read the great gatsby, to be honest. I do know it was hunter's favorite book however and that that was what he wanted to do with fear and loathing, ie: write his generations great gatsby. I like catcher and the rye though.

There are plenty of left-coms on this site who I really like, I even like a certain grouping of the left-coms who seem to hate me. That being said, there are a few who really, really don't like me. Which is fair enough, I don't like me either.

I think he's friends with some of them, but no its not him by any means. And it is to a certain extent, I don't mind being on friendly terms with him, would like to see him unbanned to be honest. We spoke on facebook the other day and he apologized. That being said I think what he did was extremely insensitive and kinda makes me feel like he's an asshole and somewhat egotistical. I probably won't ever forget what he did, I'm fine with forgiving him though; he lost his cool, its understandable, but he stooped pretty low.
