I do think however that, ofr the tasks we have a head of us more than just an international meeting space, is required (we don't want to fall in the "discussion club" trap of the mandelites) but an actual fighting international, with a common program.

As for Udry, I do not know. We don't have any group in Switzerland unfortunatly.

Well, that was the point of choosing the name CWI, even as a vanguard group we are far from sufficent yet and our goal is participate in building mass worker's organizations, both on a national and international level.

Other then that I agree with what you say. Have you seen the LSR report on the union congress: http://www.lsr-cit.org/index.php?opt...ntos&Itemid=69

I look forward to hearing of the youth conference. We've started up our election campaigning here in sweden for the coming local and national elections.

    Thanks for writing, comrade.

"We have been having contacts with him and his group and we have a very good impression of them. Do you have any opinion about them?
    Anyway, let’s work for that!"
    Which group?
I think we have talked to PSOCA, at least we published their statement on the coup in honduras on our chilean webpage, and our sympathisers (not yet an official section) in mexico seem to be collaborating with them.

hey, I just read the brazilian sections report and there will most likely be serious struggle between the right and left in P-SOL, post election. BuT I suppose I don't need to tell you that, what is needed however is a decisive left alternative, particulary on the question of building an actual cadre organization, something which neither of the main tendencies(MES and APS) seem interested in. I believe the C-SOL should take a step to the left and criticize the APS clearly and, if a common agreement can be drawn up, join the socialist resistance bloc. The left will need to be organized together if we are going to see the coming crisis of P-Sol through. You agree?

also I think in theory they claim something like 300 members. But as far as active members are concerned it's probably far less. Again this sort of goes back to problems with USFI I think you might be familiar with. I am afraid the perspectives of regroupment in sweden are not that great. About two years ago there was a split fropm the USFI where one of their branches with most local activism split, unfortunately they split to the right, with a regionalist, left-reformist perspective. They wouldn't even stand on the joint list with had with the SP-USFI for the euro elections, preferring to launch their own, rather unserious campaign, just two weeks before the election.

And now with the coming general election, the "gothenburg" wing of sp won at their last congress terminating any chance for a joint list with them this election.

Well, basically the SP-USFI in sweden are a mixed bunch. We get along alright with their malmö branch, but for some reason theri gothenburg section is extremely secterian towards us, in most instances. Still I wouldn't hold that against all members, even in gothenburg. But it's basically them calling us secterians and preferring to work with more "broad" movements (which sort of reflects their orientation internationally I think). But as I said they are very mixed, and I would be at a loss to find much of a coherent joint approach from them, it basically differs from branch to branch.

In gothenburg they are very secterian, otherwise I think we walked together with them in most places where they have members. I am in the netherlands now, so I will write something longer on it when I get back.

ha. I know you said you had trouble reading swedish but here's the mayday report from my home branch. http://rsuddevalla.wordpress.com/201...kt-forsta-maj/
Does CSOL have a website? The only links I have found have turned up dead links.

Yeah, I am not dissing. The morenoites we have in sweden are on the wrong side of insanity though, but they are minimal.

This month an, ex-LIT (or UIT, I forget) group in Italy will join our international.
