As I understand it, the original Illuminati were, indeed, freethinkers, dedicated to bringing about a new enlightenment. The House of Rothschild was supposedly involved with them somehow, but I don't think it was till later on in the organization's life (before it was disbanded). I'm not exactly a fan of Alex Jones, though. He mixes half-truths with lies and opinions, and anytime someone calls onto his show, he just runs with it, which starts rumors and misunderstandings. It's also interesting to note that GCN radion network is owned by ABC...and the President of GCN, Ted Anderson, is also the President of Midas Resources, whose products brought in 8.5+ million last year. Jones advertises their products all the time.

But today's Illuminati is far different. Their symbolism is everywhere and there are simply too many signs and confessions to ignore it. Take of it what you will, but there is something terribly wrong in this world today (besides capitalism).

Thanks. I've noticed that a lot of people, posting documents, don't realize that the line breaks are removed when they post. This makes the docs hard to read, retards the revolution and enhances the rule of the bourgeoisie. It's definitely a conspiracy.

Yeah, I watched it some time ago. Don't get me wrong, even given what I know now I would have supported them during that conflict, the same way I support the CPI (Maoist) even as I feel they have some rather mechanical views. But I think now, given that Sendero is moribund right now (though making a very slow comeback), we must make a stinging critique and learn as best we can why that experience failed. A lot of their failure in theory and practice, I feel, has been remedied by the Nepali Maoists. They have maintained strong leadership but with multiple leaders, and they have not attempted to just choke off the cities, but rather build base areas inside of them. Sendero had Raucana, but that was really it.

Thanks for responding. I have a lot of issues with Sendero, mainly their creepy religiosity toward Gonzalo, their fetishization of violence, their handling of contradictions among the people, etc. Obviously they were the preferable force during that conflict, but I wouldn't have wanted to live in the society they would have spawned. I have certain 'left deviations, if you will. :-)
