Have you heard of Socialist Alternative? I've been affiliated with them for a few months now, and in that time we've done a tremendous amount more than the average group. http://www.sa.org.au/ Only about 10 members in Perth, but extremely active, though we're winding down a bit for until early January. Most of us are, however, attending a pro-Palestine event on the 27th, have you heard about it?

Thanks, comrade. A TRUE socialist cares about his /her community, not just themself. In my humble opinion, that is what socialism is all about.

On the other hand, capitalism is all about greed. You know, "me-first-screw-you-ism." That is not how I was raised! I was taught that I should look out for my neighbor. If he is in trouble, I help him. I believe in that line of thinking.
