You really piss me off a lot and I know I react harshly sometimes. I frequently type out messages wherein I call you some name, and then go back and delete them because I know it doesn't help. It's just very frustrating, I feel like its impossible to get through to you. And the fundamental issue always seems to be that I blame all different kinds of power structures, whereas you tend to blame solely the state, especially in cases where the state has had some effect. The way I look at it, all of these structures - state and private firms - are driven by the profit motive and therefore use their power to exact their own hegemony and perpetuation of their power systems.

In any case, don't take it personally when I am crass. I'll continue to try to be civil - it gets hard after a while, but don't think that I'm blaming you for it.

was there ever a disucssion thread where you seriously questioned your former ideas? Or was it more of a gradual process of change?

Tbh, I think a lot of ancaps don't really understand Marxist or communist ideas at all, but some kind of parody of them (most obvious example of this is with any discussion on the ltv), but its well tough to convince them that the handful of mises articles they read on the subject are wrong.

Hey Hayenmill, I know obviously I tend to dismiss whatever you say, but i'm talking to a libertarian friend of mine, and he seems at least somewhat enamored with muatalism? Since that seems to be the ideology of choice for long term ancaps possessing at least half a heart/brain, would you please elaborate on the reasons why you changed your views? Mabye start a thread or something, it'd be intresting, espcially i hope for the resident ancaps.
