i understand what you're saying as well, but i think we have a duty to one another and our class to keep talking. discussing what has really happened in the past, what we think is actually happening at the moment and what we are going to do to try and alter the future in our favour, labels get in the way of that imo.
dunno about you, but i try to read as many rev.left publications as i can, today i got my update from workers power and read its appeal for left unity and suggested action in order to make the swps 10 point charter more than a charter, i'm looking forward to the socialist when it drops through my letterbox and seeing what take it has on the matter, i won't besuprised if its very similar to workers power.
all 3 of these organisations slag each other off something chronic.
but the socialist party and workers power are trying desperately to find common cause not just with each other but the swp.
imo, they are ignoring the labels and relying on common interest to find a way to deliver.
half the stalinists, you will talk to will only have read stalin, half the marxisit/leninists you talk to won't have read either.
a lot of the rev.lefts you will talk to will never actually have had experience of working at the bottom of the pile and consider socialist debate as an intellectual exercise.
such is the world we live in mate.

ortho trots...anarchists....labels mate. there is us "girls/boys just wanna have fun" whilst overthrowing worldwide capitalism and then there are the "others", more concerned with doctrine and being "politically pure" and "leading members" of the "vanguard party" than getting over themselves and getting the job done. imo, of course.
