i think you've a peculiar idea of agreement, they're just making the distinction that i have already acknowledged between 'voters' and 'full blown members'.

i think you're taking things out of context a little. As Sam b said, theres a massive leap between ''voting for the bnp as a protest vote'' and ''actually committing to joining the party''. I don't support banning people on the grounds that they may have voted bnp out of disillusionment, what i dont support either is giving a platform to ardent bnp members or their more astute sympathisers which is what you seem to be entertaining. I also think its a little unfair to base a debate around an area of the country on which i have no experience of. It's unscientific to simply assume that carlisle is a reliable microcosm of the entire country because i'm sure it isnt.
