Of course they were opposed to zionism, I mean that's what comrade Molotov's wife got in trouble for. Well, got to learn Albanian then. Would also be nice if someone got around translating Hoxha's collected works, although I don't see it happening. Also I got some Dutch translation of a book called “The Split Between Tirana and Moscow”, it hasn't arrived yet, but are you aware of this book? My guess is, that it is a collection of texts from Hoxha about the split. I also got some other books from Albania (Counter-revolution by Spiro and the PLA in Battle with modern revisionism) but those are also online and in English. I still buy those books though (Mostly to try to stabilize the difference between the Communist literature and the maoist literature I have sitting in my bookshelves). I had another question but I will post that in the thread you made in the Hoxha group.

Also I forgot, what is the general ML-view on the whole support for Israel thing? I know Hoxha was very critical of Israel, but I don't think he said anything on the USSR support of it.

I remember some site (alliance-ML was the name I think) says that the Albanian Society documents will be available soon. I hope they do, any literature positive about Albania is welcome here. Do you know if there are things from Zeri i Popullit online? I found some things in a list of Anti-Revisionist works on MIA, but as I said: anything is welcome here.

Also( spamming your visitor messages up a bit), do you know if there are texts available online from Bill Blands's Albanian Society?

From by Bland“Stalin: The Myth and the Reality”:
Why did the publication of Stalin’s works, scheduled for sixteen volumes, cease with Volume 13 in 1949, four years before his death?
Why was Stalin not asked to deliver the report of the Central Committee to the 19th Congress in 1952?
Why were Stalin’s last writings confined to subjects like linguistics and the critique of a proposed textbook on economics -- subjects which might be considered harmless to concealed revisionists had not Stalin turned them into attacks on revisionist ideas?
Why did the Soviet government surprise world opinion in 1947 by suddenly reversing its foreign policy in order to endorse the American proposal for the partition of Palestine which has proved so disastrous for the nations of the Middle East?
All this makes sense if — and I believe only if — we accept the fact that for some years before his death, Stalin and his fellow Marxist-Leninists were in a minority in the leadership of the Soviet Union.

What do you think about the argument that revisionism in the CPSU, rose before Stalin's death and that Marxist-Leninist were in the minority?

"Class struggle still exists in the period of socialism, yes. Classes exist too, but not antagonistic ones." This is a stupid position, classes inherently have contradictory interests which make them antagonistic.

...So within the next twenty years this system will with near definitivity not exist anymore. The question is then centrally whether it will be replaced by a planned economy for the ruling class, fascism, or a planned economy for workers, communism.
  9. Workers-Control-Over-Prod
The theory of the Falling Rate of Profit and the Low Rate of Profit now of below 2% in the Production process posing a historical barrier to capital is in my opinion undeniable if one accepts the Labor Theory of Value; but the problem of resource depletion and climate change is one of absolutely genuine natural boundaries to capital.

Aha! So with industrialisation(!) you does not mean industrialised economy. This is why you probably mentioned earlier that Albania still had private property in the agricultural sector. Aha Comrade, i have understood now, it is all a lot clearer! Centralized plan in the industrialised parts of the economy you were meaning. Yes, i always find myself having to remind people that Socialism = Socialisation/"Centralisation" to eventually reach a co-operative communist world.
