Hello, you seem to be our resident expert in Russian history. So I have two questions. First of all, have you read Evan Mawdsley's book 'The Russian Civil War'? If so, what did you think of it? (It's the only book on the subject I could find at my local bookstore) Secondly, do you know any works that cover the subject of the relation of the Bolsheviks to the institutions of workers' power besides Brinton's?

Good comments in the Derrick Jensen thread. What's almost as strange as Mr Jensen himself is the amount of users here who consider him some kind of brilliant thinker, "one of us" who needs to be seriously engaged with, sharing some of his premises. Well, not quite that, because they're afraid of being restricted.

Because I like the taste. Nothing beats a large dripping sirloin or a nicely roasted duck. Although even the ham sandwich I made earlier (probably 90% water, 8% miscellaneous, and 2% pig) was pretty good
- quality, havent laughed that much for a while now on revleft.
