Some things to know: Little Oakalnd kids and their scraper bikes are awesome! The Mormon Temple has great views of mid-Oakland (just don't get converted) . Do you have your apartment all set? What part of town are you moving to? If you are moving near lake Merritt or the Grand Lake Theater there's an awesome dive bar called the Ally - I recommend it.

No I haven't been working directly with anyone from SF State but yeah a lot of other ISO members have been. I've been working with people in the Peralta Community Colleges and a little at UC Berkeley which are all gearing up for the state-wide actions.

One last thing - everyone who's anyone in Oakland loved watching "Xena"!

Just out of curiosity, how much do you align with Mike Ely on issues such as Cuba (being state capitalist), the Soviet Union (state capitalist after 1956) and such? The stuff he posts sometimes really disgusts me and I wanted to see what a Kasama supporter had to say about it.
