The party had already been infiltrated by such people, so they removed the hardcore Stalinists (who were communists by all accounts, even of I disagree with some of their methods) and then it was a slippery slope ending with Yeltsin.

Basically, when the world revolution goes tits up, you should consolidate your gains.

But I don't agree with the ML concept of a party.

The 'crimes' of Stalin are massively exaggerated. I largely agree with him on a theoretical level.
Trotskyism, opportunism, careerism, etc. must be combated; collectivisation, the building of industry, etc.

Why hate him? Are you one of the Lenin haters too?
