The only problem I have with meat production is sustainability issue, but as you say, that isn't a problem inherent in livestock rearing but in capitalism doing cost-cutting measures (i.e. factory farms). This would be the only reason I would be a 'vegetarian' (or more likely reduce meat consumption), but I'm a bit lazy to totally change habits.

Those issues can be resolve post-revolution by using more sustainable measures, as you mentioned. I agree with virtually all you said in that thread.
