I consider myself a left communist heavily inspired by Bordigism and Italian left communism. I also consider myself a Leninist, but I agree with Gorter's response to Lenin on left communism obviously. I am completely opposed to Trotskyism and Stalinism. I also opposed the "libertarian-authoritarian" dichotomy, as I think any consistent Marxist should. The main thinkers that I draw influence from tend to by (besides Marx and Engels obviously) Rosa Luxemburg, Amadeo Bordiga, and Lenin.

In real life? I have participated in some things. I was active in my local occupy (but that turned out to be a big disappointment) and was active in a Marxist book group until the guy that started it got cancer and everyone just kinda stopped going. That's really about it though.

What are your politics? How would you describe yourself?

On the forum? It depends. Recently I have been on a lot more because I had surgery and I have pneumonia (so nothing to do but sit around on the computer all day) but usually I get on about once or twice a week for about an hour. So, not terribly inactive but not that active really.

My family are irish immigrants to the United States, Celtic is too cool though!
