Ah Anarcho-Syndicalism for somereason I never read anything about it despite The Program of Anarcho-Syndicalism by Maximoff being on my reading list for the longest time For a brief amount of time I considered my self Anarcho-Sind but like I said I don't know a thing about it, I have a tendency to do that Any reading suggestions for a newbie comrade?

o yeah I forgot to mention I'm almost really into feminism

I used to think of myself as an anarcho-communist, but I'm new and feel like I should study better. So, now I just say communist or socialist but I lean pretty heavy towards anarchism. The shit people do when they are in authority positions... I can't stand authority.

    How about you?

It is very interesting, i enjoy it there and the other anarchists there great for meeting like minded people. There's this coffee shop i frequent downtown, it's vegan friendly, but it's called Revolutionary Grounds. Its family run and they have communist/anarchist books there you can read or purchase. Everything from lenin books, anarchist thinkers, books about racism, sexism, animal rights etc. I actually intend to join the IWW myself. I definitely recommend reading Emma Goldman, she has some great writings, and had a great sense of humor to what she wrote as well making it very unique for it's time. Kropotkin has good stuff to, and Alexander Berkman (who was emma goldman's lover) really good stuff there.

For council communists, yeah, that's more or less what the transitional state is.

It's been sometime, i've been busy with school and working lots of overtime to make up for 4 days i missed from being sick. Yeah the CNT was huge during that time, there's a lotta good information on the anarchist controllled regions of barcelona and aragon. Unfortunately none that i've seen, sometimes you may find a coalition of different networks, and groups. I tend to goto collectives or anarchist bookstores to find other people to discuss and organize with. There's this place here the Dry River Collective, they have all kinds of zines, books which you can check out like a library, movie screenings, discussions, live shows, have classes, etc. They take donations but no charge for anything you do there. I've found some great comrades that way who got me involved with various other anarchists here.

I'm glad you looked more into anarchism comrade. It was similar for me as well. I started off as a marxist, then got more into anarchist philosophy, read about anarcho-syndicalism and that's where i've been all along. Did you read anything about the anarchist CNT-FAI during the spanish civil war?
