Questionable

I consider myself somewhat of an Orthodox Marxist, and sympathize with Leninism. The difference in my opinion is that Leninism developed into an attempt, a doctrine at revolution in underdeveloped countries - whereas traditional Marxism has always been focused on revolution in the advanced capitalist 'democratic' countries. "Brezhnevist" is a somewhat dubious term - Brezhnev was a revisionist trying to manage the disoriented and deteriorating Soviet Union. Out of tactical political reasons, I am for a politics of socialist unity (pro-Cuba for instance) and passivity on bourgeois anti-imperialist struggles.

I know for sure that I am not a Maoist or Brezhnevite. I can't tell you if I am a Hoxhahist or not. I'll stick to just being labelled ML for now.

Mainly that prohibition creates and supplements addictive behavior; by associating conditions created by prohibition (the 'dirty' or dangerous aspects of illegal drug use) with the effect of the drug of choice, it reinforces that addictive behavior in its most dangerous and harmful guises. Ex. areas of run down urban areas become drug open air markets, people who use associate run down urban areas with being high, it was found that being excited about the setting a user is going to get high in has an impact on the effect of the high (i.e. getting an injection by a nurse of heroin in a maintenance clinic in Switzerland vs injecting in a filthy alley behind a run down building), due to neurotransmitter release (dopamine, seratonin, norepinepherine)- which reinforces that dangerous behavior. But there's a ton of stuff they've studied and written about.

I think being a gay M-L is pretty awesome! Seriously, I don't think that one must accept every policy of the fSU under Lenin and Stalin in order to appreciate all the good they did, and the validity of most of their thoughts and practices. I don't think anyone can say they approve of and support EVERYTHING done by Lenin and Stalin, esp. b/c they sometimes went against their own previous policies. In general, however, I believe that M-L is the tendency with which I agree the most.
