Ugh, the Stalinists are going at it again in supporting imperialism in the Tibet thread. They will support any imperialism so long as it's not by the United States and its allies. Even some Trotskyists do that(though not many)

I think it might have something to do with the fact that most of us live in countries where we are taught to hate socialism, so to compensate, they embrace petty dictators. It's difficult to say really.

I was the opposite, raised in the US by a family who was very anti-communist. I gravitated towards it the more that I learned about economics and social policies.
