Yes, I still identify as a council communist but I don't agree with them on everything. I also am not opposed (yet at the same time, I am suspicious of) the idea of a revolutionary party as long as it is democratic, doesn't participate in bourgeois elections, etc. and this is a view most council communists would also disagree with. I guess I am just a freak .

I probably pull my support for the Bolsheviks around 1918 as well because of more repressive measures instituted after that, the introduction of war communism, etc. but it is a sympathetic criticism until the institution of the NEP.

Historically, yes I do support the Bolsheviks to a certain extent. I do not support their creation of the Cheka (although I can understand why Lenin made this organization), I do not support their crushing of the Kronstadt sailors, etc. etc. At the same time, I think they probably were the best group to take power at the time.

Of course, as you know, I do not support Bolshevik tactics (such as democratic centralism, Lenin's Vangaurdism, etc.) for modern and industrialized countries. What are your views?

Are you in High School? It seems to me that you've read more political philosophy and economics than most of the general population already so even if you're not in High School it would still be impressive.

Stirner and Nietzsche are definitely read very well together. They have a significant impact on my world view, and to a lesser degree my view of politics and my rejection of ideology. That's what moved me towards anarchism for a while, but anarchism's dogmatic rejection of the party and political struggle turned me off.
