About Germany, well, there are a few things that stick out over the last few months:
1) the german Domestic intelligence agency destroyed some documents about eh NSU nazi terrorist organisation that murdered over ten hard working immigrants. So we know that there are fascists in high ranking administrative positions of the german state. On top of that the Parliament has just given the domestic intelligence service executive powers, so it is now able to use the police for its intelligence gatherings. The last time we had that was the Gestapo SS.
2) the german parliament just passed the ESM, European security mechanism, which takes away all financial priviliges of the german democratic representatives of the Bundestag and lets banks borrow money directly from the european governments. This puts the german economy into a big problem since the german debt is over 85% and will make it more difficult to lend money when more banks fail and take money directly from taxpayers.

Anything new in USA mate?

Nope, in fact, they don't pay me at all! Where is a union when you need one? lol
