Its not necessarily the flag of the Monarchy but the flag of the Libyan revolution, I removed the religious symbology from it though. As for Jonas Savimbi I don't necessarily support all his views but that quote is admirable. My good friend is from Angola and he has told me a lot about the civil war which is why I have sympathy for their cause.

You are right that nothing is clear cut, but the border with Scotland was not the work of the Roman at all, I live above the Roman wall (Hadrian's wall) which is in England, and the Northumbrian Angles had a kingdom that stretched all the way to the Firth of Forth. The border with Scotland is far more modern that people would think.

And though things are not clear cut, the Anglo-Saxons were English whether other peoples joined that culture or not because they used the term ''Englisc'' for their culture and language. But many ''English'' were Huns, some were Welsh etc. but that does not stop the fact that England and the English only exist because of that settlement, which gave the cultural frame. I agree with many of your points, though.

No one is talking about genetics or saying that there is no influence from other countries, just that the Anglo-Saxon immigrant culture caused the foundation of England. I hope you understand what I mean. I am not against the view that immigrants or settles from other cultures have shaped modern England, but to deny that their is a framework is silly. Put it this way, if the Anglo-Saxons stayed in the flooding area of southern Denmark and northern Gemrany, their would not be an England today, just a part of Brythonic Britain.

Actually, the BNP has divergent views, however, being British Nationalists they usually believe that all the groups in the British Isles belong to the same ''race'', and thus lend their support to the theory that the Anglo-Saxons didn't mass migrate, it is why they use names like ''Excalibur''. England has elements from other cultures, yes, but so do all countries in Europe. If England is not culturally English (or ''Anglo-Saxon'') as a whole, then Ireland is not mostly Irish, Scotland is not mostly Scottish. I am just against that double-standard. Yes the English are not ''purely'' anything genetically, but downplaying the fact that Anglo-Saxons did create England is counter-productive, in my opinion, just as it would be counter-productive to say that the original Irish invaders didn't form the modern culture, and the pre-Irish did.

Wouldn't having the red, black and green be contradictory to your supposed opposition to nationalism?
