me neither. I had an online assignment due tonight but I didn't do it. It only works with certain browsers. It'd be an two-hour round trip getting to the library, not even counting the time I'd spend in there actually working so it wouldn't be worth it. (Driving to the commuter lot, getting on the bus, getting to central campus = 30 minutes; walking from there to library is another 30 minutes; then add the same thing for the return trip, and then however much time it takes to do the work) I'm not going to take that much time out of my day to do something that insignificant

both my computers are broken. I should be getting one of them back on Friday hopefully, then I'll be back around. In the meantime I've just been stuck with a tablet. I was hoping they would have just given me a new laptop since it was covered by warranty, but they needed to keep it for a week.

I lurked around here back in 2011 leading up to the port shut down here in Oakland and got a good picture of the way people interact on here. It's a theoretical gladiator arena. anyway, I decided, well, a few of us decided to get online in various left leaning sites to address the ongoings at OWS events, namely my fellow Anarchists property destruction, the old useless tactic of pushing workers to support the Democrat party and identity politics. I kinda got sucked into a "debate" on Kautsky and have kinda side tracked my whole purpose of joining which admittedly is to harshly criticize socialists who have been goading our efforts into the Democrat party and identity politics.

Still in its beginning stages, so we're working on cohering ourselves as an independent organisation rather than simply a tendency/faction within the Socialist Party. But we've been developing along those lines over the past couple months, so I think we're beginning to get somewhere.

Some individuals (myself included), are also talking with other groups to try and develop contacts and political discussion, partially since RevUnity doesn't really want to exist as its own organisation for a long period of time. For example we posted this on our website with a call for responses both in and outside the group: http://www.revunity.org/?p=205

New York City is probably a great place in terms of looking for local organizations - problem is, I'm on East Long Island, and as far as I know, anyway, there aren't any left-wing organizations active out here. I'm likely to end up moving to the city sometime, but even so, I'm not sure what organizations there are around. The SPUSA seems to be one of few non-doctinaire socialist parties around, yet is pretty clearly dominated by reformists, unfortunately.

Still, good that you found them personable and committed; that's been my experience as well when dealing with them face to face.
