Yeah, I knew that about the IMT. Interestingly, I wouldn't necessarily disagree with them about the necessity or usefulness of working within the British Labour Party. Kind of like trade unions, the Labour Party in the UK is at least a partial victory for the working class insofar as it was formed to promote independent working class political action. However, the IMT gets in wrong in that they try to export that perspective in every country that they work in, so you get in the United States an attempt to build a "labor party" as a reformist/halfway house-ish party as the strategy. This also, in my view, misreads the early history of the Labour Party as more left wing than it actually was, so they don't see that the Labour Party was a means to head off the creation of a Marxist party a la the SPD.

    (Just saw that post, oops.)

Thanks, it's great to hear that I contribute something or another around here that people find useful, lol. I try to contribute to the discussion around here, it's a good forum in between the mass bannings. You're one of the better posters around here yourself.

Yeah, I'm a member of the Dutch CWI branch. The Americans come over to me as relaxed and committed comrades. I've never been to the states, so I can't say a lot first hand about the organisations' functioning.
  4. I don't really disagree with that sentiment at all comrade, but what I would say is that millions of workers died in a fight between factions of capital. I take the stance of turn the imperialist war into a civil war; although this does not mean I don't fully understand what would of happen has the Nazi's won, I do realize the consequences.
  5. My position on WWII remains the same; what about you?

The "revisionism" article comes from an ultra-left website.
  7. I think its safe to say (and we both know this) that this site is predominantly populated by liberals of varying stripes; let alone the fact that the BA has a high percentage of them in their ranks (not even just the primmies).
  8. In all honesty I was considering dropping anarchism even before I joined the site, it just took me a while to figure out where exactly I fit. But yeah the majority of anarchists on this site are awful. Tim Cornellis is a smart guy though, just don't agree with his politics. There are loads of primmies on here...

Yeah, by all means do it. I'd be interested to hear about your experiences working with them.
