Also the claim that no "white" person has been beaten up for being white is ridiculous and I am glad you pointed that out. I have known it to happen. I have actually been a victim of, to be honest very minor racist abuse as well (from "blacks" and "whites").
The support of "anti-white" racism by some on the left annoys me as we should be about unity and solidarity and be beyond such things.

I agree with what you said regarding racism in the "cracker" thread. It is ridiculous when people conflate the oppression of ethnic groups in a system based on racist principle with racism; that is institutional or sytematic racism as a whole and claim that people in minority groups can't be racist. A racist is technically someone who believes in the concept of "races" and usually someone who puts, the very slight, differences between human populations to "racial" differences and proclaim the superiority of their "race" or the inferiority of another "race".
The "minority groups can't be racism" line is just a ridiculous bourgeois notion invented by white "liberals" to show how benevolent and repentant they are anyway. To be truly "anti-racist" in my mind is just that; to not agree with the artificial definition of "race" and to combat racial prejudice in anyone whether black, white, yellow or green.
