No problem. Yeah, it was about as staged as a "Revolution" can get. The same could be said of Georgia's Rose Revolution as well.

If you want further insight, Kiev Communard lives in Ukraine (I think). He/she might be able to shine more light on the subject.

My knowledge of this particular topic is limited at best. From what I know, the demonstrations were directly (and indirectly) manipulated by both international (Western) and domestic forces. Apparently, the main activists/supporters were trained and funded in such tactics as nonviolent resistance by Western consultants/professionals - which were in turn funded by both government and non-government entities/agencies. This includes the U.S. State Department and many others. Basically, it ensured that a pro-Western candidate/bloc could remain in power. Domestically, people seemed to identify the "good" with the West. However, inter-party wrangling/disputes and political gridlock led to many becoming disillusioned with the Orange "Revolution". Thus, the Orange bloc was voted into the opposition. That's all I really know on the situation.

An old antics market in Berlin!It was cheap for such a prize.. 20$. Its great,hasn't got a scratch on itself.

Oh,and just to let you know,i got gifts from Berlin,a old water can with a hammer and sickle on it (the NVA standard small water can) A NVA gray helmet,a couple of shirts (polo) that were actually made in the DDR and a car sticker with a big "DDR" on it,also a bunch of DDR post stamps and a number of books..
