The speech is split into three parts, covering two thousand years of Cambodian history and unconvincingly squeezing it into the mentioned schema. The first part deals with the shifts from primitive communism into slavery, and then into feudalism. The second part deals with the shift from feudalism into capitalism, or an ambiguous 'feudo-capitalist' [sic] period. This second part is the most lengthy, as it is here that a National Democratic Revolution (there never such a thing) began after the founding of the Communist Party of Kampuchea, and then the revolutionary war (all from 1960 to 1975).

If you look at his speech, you can see he used a very crude and vulgar Marxist five-phase mode of societal evolution, the kind of which was mechanically adopted by other Communist Parties, without much thought given to the particular local conditions of the societies in which they operated. That all societies, no matter their particularities and development are fated to follow the same path. It's the 'official' take on historical materialism from the Stalin-era Soviet Union.
